Having fun getting Daddy in the yard…10 minutes from now he will break his arm running and having fun.

Warren and Mommy went to the ER on Sunday night. Here he is waiting for an X-ray. The doctor there said it wasn’t broke.

Well the ER doctor was wrong…Warren was in pain and Mommy listened. Warren saw the orthopedic doctor on Monday and she looked at the x-rays from the ER and said right away that he broke his arm. The lower portion of his humerus. You don’t have to tell me….I am never going back to that ER.

Still in pain. He just got his cast on. They had to cut his sleeve off of his shirt. When asked what happened to him, Warren replies, “I fell in a hole at Grandma’s house.” When he was playing in yard with Gram and Dad, he tripped in a small hole/dent in the ground and fell down. Before he could catch himself he fell down on his arm…thus breaking it. It was 1 year and 9 days since he broke his other arm falling down the stairs at home!
A broken arm will not slow this 3 year old down. Here he is playing in the dirt with brother. They have out their bug box, shovels, sifters, and magnifying glasses. Notice they do not want their gloves on. They are still in the PJ’s. It is early in the morning and the boys just want to play, play, play.

Even on those crazy days like today, God gives us gifts to remind us of his love.
