Finding Turtle Power

Warren and Monte get a pet snake named "Turtle Power" for a day.

Week 172: April 5-11, 2009

Warren playing video games. He is getting so good with the mouse. The game that he is playing requires him to follow verbal directions to bake and decorate cookies in specific number patterns. Check out Mommy's messy desk (a physical sign of the chaos in her mind with sick boys and finals coming up with grad school) and the beautiful flowers the boys got me!

On our way home from Grandma's house we stopped and bought some crickets for in our bug jars. The boys loved these!

One proud boy he was after he finished coloring all of his eggs. This is Mommy's favorite picture taken this week. You can see the look in his eye and he is also feeling better!

Grandma is worried that the egg is going to fall and break. Don't worry Gram, he's got it. He's a big boy now.

Mommy loves this picture. The boys are opening their Easter eggs and they do not know what to do first...Eat as much chocolate as possible or shove as much change into their pockets as they can.

Such a sick boy. We did not take any pictures from Tuesday through Friday because everyone was so sick!

Poor paying the price for the ice cream sandwich he just ate.

Trying to eat an icecream sandwich to feel better on Monday afternoon... Warren got sick Sunday and everytime he ate he would throw it right back up...this lasted all week.

Warren is a big boy this year. He likes to ride on the big boy swing. He is learning how to pump his legs to make himself go.

Warren is urging Monte to hurry up.

Just last year, Warren was afraid to go down the slide.

Week 171: March 29-April 4, 2009

It was Kid's Day at the mall on Saturday. Warren got to give his buddy Curious George a big hug. He also made and decorated an Easter cookie, did art projects, and played games throughout the mall. Too much fun.

This was as close as he would get to the Easter Bunny and I can't blame him a bit.

We ended our Saturday evening by resting on the couch. Poor Monte has been sick since last week and big brother will wake up the day after this picture was taken for his turn of 9 days of sickness!

Warren and Daddy went to Aunt Jean's 80th Birthday celebration in Johnstown on Saturday.

Warren helped Olivia celebrate her 2nd birthday in style. Olivia's party was a cowgirl theme. Warren wore his cowboy hat and cowboy shirt to the party.

Warren rode the train at the mall after he visited with the Easter Bunny. Poor Monte missed all the fun...Monte was at home with Dad being sick!

Warren had fun at the Easter Egg hunt. Warren found three eggs and then came back to mom. Warren said he found enough. One little boy was crying because he did not get any. Warren gave the boy one of his eggs. Warren said, "Here you go buddy." The little boy cheered right up and told Warren thank you.
