Emerald Isle Beach Vacation: Day 7, Friday, June 26th

DSCF4824

All seven children early in the morning…most of them still in their p.j.’s.  Of course Warren is holding baby Jacob.  From left to right are McKenna, Monte, Jacob, Warren, Jillian, Reece, and Olivia.  We said if we get to do this next year, they will not all fit and or there may be more children there!

DSCF4838

Warren playing wiffle ball with Mom and Monte.  It hit 100 today and we decided to stay at the house and swim in the baby pool and play with the hose in the morning.  After lunch and nap we then went to the beach.  We played at the beach for a few hours and then a huge storm rolled in and Mom didn’t get any pictures while we were at the beach.

We went to feed the turtles.

The boys showing off their conch shells that they “found.”  Childhood is a time of magic and wonder.  When they are older, Mom will tell them that she stashed the treasure and shells for them to find.

The boys heading back to the house with Mom.  It was after 9pm when we left the beach.  Since this was our last night here, we made the best of it.

After dinner, Mommy and the boys went down to the beach to take pictures and find a geocache. Mommy was glad to take the boys to Emerald Isle, NC.  This was the first beach Mommy went to as a girl, and she wanted this to be the place that the boys went to on their first trip to the beach.  This island is so beautiful.  It is a true beach with sand dunes, fences, and tall grasses.  The following pictures are at sunset.
